The ending of any year seems to require some kind of list about the previous year, or in the current year's case the past decade.  I will not bore you with a list - you can find them in your local newspaper, on the internet or favorite newscast on TV.

Rather, I will make this end of year musing simple.  For the pleasant times in 2011, keep the memories and cherish them.  For those times when the past year was unkind, leave them behind and know that better times can be yours in 2012.  Most importantly, I wish you and yours a most joyous New Year and a 2012 filled with love, peace and good fortune.
